Key Responsibilities
- Develop innovative chemical products for Oil & Gas applications
- Lead multi-step organic synthesis and R&D projects
- Design and test drilling fluids, cementing slurries & completion fluids
- Perform advanced analysis using chromatography & spectroscopy techniques
- Reverse engineer competitor products and identify raw materials
- Develop analytical methods, QA/QC protocols & performance testing
- Scale up products from lab to commercial manufacturing
- Collaborate with procurement for cost optimization strategies
- Prepare technical reports, documentation & research findings
- Maintain lab equipment, calibration records & inventory
- Mentor junior scientists and support daily R&D operations
Preferred Expertise
- Oil & Gas chemicals (Drilling, Cementing, Production Chemicals)
- HPHT, deepwater & shallow well applications
- Field / rig-site exposure and crude oil testing experience
- Product performance evaluation & troubleshooting
