Vacancy Details – Process Engineering
Position: Executive / Senior Executive – Process Engineering
Exemed Pharmaceuticals is looking for experienced candidates to support process engineering, technology transfer, scale-up and pharmaceutical manufacturing operations.
Experience Required: 7–8 Years
Key Job Responsibilities
Selected candidates will be responsible for the following activities:
- Process Technology Transfer: Manage technology transfer from R&D to plant or between plants. Coordinate with R&D teams and assess process feasibility for commercialization.
- Process Evaluation and Scale-Up: Evaluate laboratory demonstration batches, assess scale-up factors and recommend process or plant modifications.
- Engineering Documentation: Prepare and review process block diagrams, Process Flow Diagrams (PFD), P&IDs and technology-transfer documents.
- Equipment and Plant Modifications: Design and execute equipment and plant modifications while identifying process and cost-improvement opportunities.
- Validation and Commercialization: Plan and execute scale-up and validation batches, monitor batch data and assess commercial feasibility.
- Solvent Recovery: Support solvent recovery and recycling improvements to reduce the carbon footprint.
- Process Safety: Support EHS activities, including PHA, risk assessments and HAZOP studies, to help ensure process safety in manufacturing.
- Quality and Compliance: Coordinate with QA on deviations, OOS and CAPA. Support Production investigations, corrective actions, CGMP and QMS compliance.
- New Product Development Support: Coordinate with R&D on scale-up, technology transfer and validation of new products.
