Key Job Responsibilities
The Deputy Manager will be the custodian of the Quality Control (QC) laboratory’s integrity. Primary duties include:
CGMP & Compliance: Ensuring the QC lab strictly adheres to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and GLP standards.
Analytical Documentation: Detailed review and approval of Certificates of Analysis (CoAs) for raw materials, intermediates, and finished products.
Incident Investigations: Leading high-level investigations into Out-of-Specification (OOS) results, OOT (Out-of-Trend) findings, and laboratory deviations using Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
Data Integrity Oversight: Comprehensive review of audit trails for chromatographic data (HPLC, GC) using software like Empower and LIMS.
CAPA Management: Implementation and monitoring of Corrective and Preventive Actions to prevent recurrence of quality issues.
Software Management: Overseeing manufacturer details and Goods Receipt Note (GRN) approvals within the BLPS system.
